Helping people is my jam. Specifically I LOVE to Helping people is my jam.

Specifically I LOVE to help retirees figure out the right remote work options. That could be working for themselves or someone else.

I also LOVE to help digital business owners “adult” in their business with grown up strategic & financial planning support.

What’s your jam? Also, “Nano, Nano.” If you get it, you get it. 👽

Not anymore!

In this AMAZING episode, I interview Jon Dykstra from FatStacks about how he built an amazing seven-figure blogging business. Spoiler alert: He was doing it on the side since he was a lawyer when started.

We break down EXACTLY what it takes to replace your full-time income, and beyond.

Jon's course Niche Site Profits opens this week, and I teamed with him to offer a BONUS called "The Blog and Brew 30-Day Experience."

Doing things MY way now. 👏👏👏 For too lon Doing things MY way now. 👏👏👏

For too long I listened to expert after expert give me advice or worse tell me I had a “mindset” problem when their advice didn’t work.

This isn’t their fault per se. When you are new in business sometimes you don’t know the right questions to ask, have the vision, or how to listen to your own intuition. It’s easy to look for answers in someone else.

This might work in the beginning.
✋

BUT there comes a point when only you know the answer, can develop the answers, MUST listen to your inner wisdom & block all others out.

What is your inner wisdom telling you right now?

I know you’re noodling on something. What’s the first answer that comes to you. Tell me in the comments 👇🏼
"What should I charge?" I get asked this all the t "What should I charge?" I get asked this all the time. Or people say things like:
🔸
"I'm new so I don't want to charge too much."
🔸
"I don't have testimonials so I can't charge what I want yet."
🔸
"I'm starting low so I can get business in the door."
🔸
"I'm going to price high because everyone says I should "charge what I'm worth."

So and so on. Listen - pricing has nothing to do with YOU and everything to do with THEM. It has to do with what you bring to the table in terms of the impact your solution will have on a business.

It's not about "your value" or "your worth." It's what the market will bear for the solution you offer. And it's about having OPTIONS that work for your client AND for you.

Check out part 3 of 3 in this 3-part podcast series all about the State Of Remote Work. Key #3 is Pricing and it's my FAVORITE topic! 🤗

“Work. Work” doesn’t it look fun? It is wh “Work.
Work” doesn’t it look fun?

It is when you work “work” right. But it isn’t so easy.

Maybe you’re:
-Stuck in a job you don’t like
-Built a business that you don’t like
-Have clients that you don’t like
-Get paid a sub pair salary
-Spend $$$ on gas & fight traffic to work on location

It shouldn’t be so hard. 🤯

I REALLY enjoy my work (thus the jubilant video) but it toook me 6 years to create my day exactly how I want.

Tell me in comments, what would make work fun for you? 👇🏼
Here are some “poor” decisions I’ve made alo Here are some “poor” decisions I’ve made along the path of becoming a business owner over the last 6 years.

😳 Trying to build my own website without having the skills. Or a dozen other things I don’t have the skills for.
❌ Worrying about things that don’t matter like the perfect color blue, a logo, a “brand”.
😔 Over-investing in programs, courses, coaches instead of managing profit & expenses.
❌ Getting too committed to one idea instead of testing quickly, failing fast and moving on.
🥹 Listening to other people’s advice only to learn I was equally as smart—or more so because I know my business best.
❌ Creating a business model that wasn’t good for me & caused unnecessary stress.
🤯 Undervaluing my skills (the thing I literally teach people not to do).

BUT it’s not a big waste because each “poor” decision led to having a strong grasp of knowing what I want, will and won’t tolerate, and (although painful) how to create an actual PROFITABLE business.

No decision is truly “bad” or “good”. They are just decisions you make with the information you have. Celebrate the ones you liked and change the ones you don’t like into a gift whenever possible, and move on.
